WHY GREENER CAMPING MEMBERSHIP?
We are fortunate enough to be situated in an area surrounded by natural beauty, with Snowdonia national park and many other places on our doorstep. As a result we are only able to operate as a GCC members only site. This means we have an obligation to ensure all guests are members of the issuing authority namely the Greener Camping Club. The good news is we can join you up for just £12 per calendar year, which includes participation in our Carbon Offset Scheme. This means that each year we plant a tree for every new member we take.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES
To keep our campsite at its best there are lots of jobs that we need to do inbetween departures and arrivals, to ensure your
holiday is the best that we can achieve for you . To this end , please help us by sticking to the arrival and departure times.
On arrival day, the camping pitches, cabin and tipis are available from 3pm.
On Departure day, please vacate the camping pitches by 11am and the cabin/yurt/tipis by 10am.
PAYMENTS
CABIN , Rita, minimum stay 2 nights (price per pitch includes 2 x adults)
£100 per night - includes bedding, linen and towels

YURT, Mary, minimum stay 2 nights (price per pitch includes 2 adults)
£120 per night - includes bedding, linen and towels
(additional adult £40 per person per night)

TIPIS , Mavis, minimum stay 2 nights(price per pitch includes 2 x Adults)
£60 per night - does not include bedding, linen and towels
(plus £12 Greener camping one off payment, annual subscription)
ANY DIRECT BOOKINGS FOR RITA or MARY OF MORE THAN THE MINIMUM STAY,
will receive a bottle of Prosecco on arrival

ANY DIRECT BOOKING OF TIPIS MAVIS, DAFFYD, ALGIE AND DON DON minimum of two nights will
receive complimentary logs and kindling
WILD CAMPING PITCHES
Wild Tipis, £40 per night (includes 2 adults) No minimum stay
Otter, Heron, Kingfisher, Dipper and Chub
£18 per night ,(price per pitch includes 2 x adults), additional adults £9 per night per person , no minimum stay

Please note:- all individuals staying have to be registered with us in advance, as we are only a small site with
restrictions on numbers
CANCELLATION BY YOU
If you cancel your yurt, cabin, tipi or camping holiday 6 weeks or more before your arrival date, we will refund your payment less £30 administration costs. If it is within the six week period we will refund your payment less admin charge if we are able to refill the booking, if we are unable to fill it we will not refund your payment. If you are worried about the prospect of cancelling, please take out holiday insurance.
Bookings are not transferable without our prior agreement by email / writing.
CANCELLATION BY US
TIPIS AT PONTY reserves the right to cancel a cabin, yurt, tipi or camping holiday at short notice if we are unable to provide accommodation or camping environment, due to extreme weather conditions, ill health, fire, flooding or any other extenuating circumstances beyond our control. Under such circumstances your full payment will be returned to you. TIPIS AT PONTY cannot accept liability or responsibility for any loss, including consequential loss, caused by cancellation.
CONSIDERATION FOR OTHERS
TIPIS AT PONTY is a small select site for enjoyment of the surroundings. We do not allow radios or other sound systems, and request people are quiet during the times of 11 pm and 7.30 am. Acoustic instruments are acceptable outside of the quiet times. Noisy visitors who persistently disturb other guests will be asked to politely leave without refund.
RECYCLING AND RUBBISH
As part of our involvement with The Greener Camping Club, a condition of camping here is that you separate glass, cans, plastic, paper, cardboard, food waste, etc placing them in the special labelled bins provided behind the sunset shack. What is left, ie anything that is non recyclable can be placed in the landfill bin.
BADGERS, FOXES AND OTTERS TO NAME A FEW
There is a chance you may see these creatures around the area, please be aware that they are looking for food and may try to raid food stocks and recycling. To avoid loss of your stock and a mess to wake up to please put your stock in suitable hard containers and your recycling in the bins provided regularly, and make sure your tents are properly closed at night!
SMOKING POLICY
All the cabin, yurt, tipis, tents and undercover facilities both on the pitch and communal areas are STRICTLY NO SMOKING areas.
If you smoke please do it outside and dispose of the ends on your camp fire or in a bin, many thanks.
COOKING
The stoves in the cabin, yurt and tipis are NOT to be used for cooking.
Cooking should only be done in the shelter on your pitch or at the communal shack facility, or in the kitchenette microwave.
CAMP FIRES AND FIRE WOOD
The cabin and tipi pitches are provided with a firepit and stove. We provide a complimentary bucket of logs / kindling. To refill please put £5 in our honesty box. Please do not leave unattended and do not use if weather conditions are not favourable. The tent pitches are provided with fire baskets/pits, please do not move them from the designated area. Logs / kindling can be purchased at £5 a bucket.
DOG POLICY
We are happy to welcome well behaved dogs, all we ask is that when in the campsite they are contained and not allowed to run freely and that you “ pick up” after them and put the waste in the designated bins provided.
ACCIDENTAL DAMAGES
Should any significant damage or breakage occur, other than acceptable wear and tear, a charge for replacement may be made.
